"Our ability to have the dollar be the chief means of intentional finance is what has underpinned our ability to impose sanctions" Sherman has accidentally signalled to the entire America hating globe that Bitcoin works, and should be adopted as a top strategic priority.

Now with America pulling out of the international system, rankling the international community with tarrifs on top of the long running animus, racing to integrate with Bitcoin makes perfect sense from every angle. If Bitcoin replaces the dollar, they think America will be hurt.

  3. The fact of the matter is that America will not be hurt by the world settling on Bitcoin just as it did with GSM. America's strength is _not_ the dollar; it is AMERICANISM. America running on Bitcoin is just as powerful as America running on the gold standard.

Bitcoin makes the USA stronger, while removing the world from the yoke of the dollar. Bitcoin makes America "more America". With Bitcoin, only the bad guys lose and everyone else wins, on a global level. There's nothing that can stop The Transformation now with a global Internet.

"To a hammer, every problem looks like a nail". Congress has only one tool, a hammer, and it mostly breaks things. Their idiotic "drug war" was a disaster, and is being quietly ended, with billions being made. The social stigma against getting high is not present with Bitcoin.

It was easy to get other countries to go along with prohibition; getting them to go against Bitcoin will be much harder, because there is no social stigma attached to math, and the international community knows the dollar has been weaponised against them.

There won't be a global war on Bitcoin; there will be a global war _for_ Bitcoin, as jurisdictions compete for entrepreneurs in their quest to establish hubs where global Bitcoin transactions are processed and taxed. Sherman doesn't know what he's talking about, obviously.

And do not forget that 4 billion people on earth (who are real human beings) don't have bank accounts or access to financial services who will be very well served by Bitcoin. The Sherman type thinks the literal sacrifice of these people is "worth it" to maintain dominance.

This is a literal statement of fact by the way youtube.com/watch?v=RM0uvg… if these people are willing to sacrifice 500k children over Iraq, do you really think they'll hesitate to sacrifice 1bn people to maintain global dominance? Thankfully, they don't have the luxury of choice.

Bitcoin is going to serve these people, and everyone else, no matter what anyone wants. The more Sherman and his ilk talk about how Bitcoin hurts the dollar, the more attractive it becomes. When it is everywhere, like GSM, anyone who wants to "make a call" will have to have BTC.
