/ Our story starts in the year 2000, when Alex Jones, a local Austin radio celebrity, who had recently launched "Infowars," was about to make a name for himself with a documentary he would film.

/ It was entitled "Dark Secrets," and would tell the story of how Jones 'infiltrated' the notoriously secret and private meeting place of elite, rich and powerful men, "Bohemian Grove," Monte Rio, California

/ He would sneak into the grounds with a hidden camera and film a 'ritual' called the "Cremation of Care", which he claimed involved real, human, child sacrifice

/ The film he made significantly raised his profile, and would be a centerpiece product to sell for many years to come.

/ The story of Jones' "infiltration of Bohemia Grove" was simultaneously filmed by a UK Channel 4 Crew making a documentary about "The New World Order," called the "Secret Rulers of The World"

/ Jon Ronson, the C4 filmmaker presented the infiltration story as a risky adventure

"Alex has no clear idea how to accomplish his mission; he's obtained a map of the Grove & his plan is to enter the forest, perhaps climb up some mountains and scout round until he finds it"

/ Alex Jones upped the drama, talking of potentially getting blown away by some over zealous ranchers.

/ Later, Jones and his cameraman, Mike Hanson, ditched the plan deciding instead to try and "blend in" to gain entry wearing the right 'preppy' gear, and "walking straight by security."

/ Now, as Jones appeared to be walking up to the gates of Bohemia Grove, Ronson narrating, made it clear he himself would not enter, and had no idea what Jones and Hanson would find once they had entered.

/ Now, Jones narrating on his own documentary, claims to have been questioned by sheriffs, deputies & The Secret Service, but had gotten by them all with sweet talk. He also claims that for technical reasons, the footage of these confrontations was unfortunately not recorded.

/ Now, just to see how unlikely this is, observe this short clip of a journalist getting stopped and threatened with arrest for approaching the gates. There CLEARLY was NO WAY in to the grove without membership or an invitation and most have to pay over $15,000 to attend

/ Jones would go on to film the ceremony inside, and later fuel and bolster conspiracy theories about the 'rituals' he observed and the human sacrifices he erroneously claims were taking place.

/ You see the whole thing was a SCAM - and Ronson and his crew were in on it. First, the 'Cremation of Care' ceremony is an annual theater production

/ And secondly, in 2009, Ronson, on Infowars, admitted that he too entered the Grove along with Jones and Hanson! He arranged & financed the event and as Jones put it, had "secret intel" inside the Grove (which, as far as I am concerned, means a 'member with an invitation.')

/ I tell this story, is because it shows that from day 1, Alex Jones peddled conspiracy theory for profit, with straight up scams to push snake oil products (in this case, the fake video)

Everybody in the team IS IN ON SCAM - IMPORTANTLY INCLUDING our mystery main character:

/ In this example, Michael Corbin, as a favor to Alex, had guest hosted his show without pay. So he was more than a little surprised by Violet's seemingly aggressive, ungrateful reaction and apparently laser-like focus on hawking the Infowars videos.

/ And, it was this Tweet, back in July 2017 that caught my eye. As you can see, Kelly was asking for an INORDINATE amount of money with no mention of compensation for Infowars' victims. Something didn't seem right about that!
