What he says here is categorically not true. Sorry, but it's a deliberate and direct falsehood.

Jeremy Corbyn says he stopped appearing on Press TV after the 2009 election protests were crushed. He didn't, actually. 👇 uk.businessinsider.com/jeremy-corbyn-…

  2. Corbyn straight out lies here. He continued appearing on Press TV after the green revolution and after Maziar was filmed under duress in prison. He'd prefer to lie than admit he was wrong.

  3. Why can’t he just say ‘Yes of course I regret it, we all make mistakes’ and move on. Corbyn would be much better off if his aides persuaded him to concede more and not be so defensive which comes across much worse tbh. There are times to stand your ground; this ain’t one of them.

  4. You were cheerily appearing on Press TV while they were trying to whip up death threats against me, Jeremy! twitter.com/Channel4News/s…

  5. This is truly remarkable stuff. A thorough grilling from @jonsnowC4 and not a single sign of contrition. Side note, I’ve watched his Press TV appearances, not once did he ever mention the Iranian government‘s human rights record on those shows.

  6. Hold on: Corbyn is simply lying here. Election protests were in 2009. Corbyn was on Press TV regularly up to 2012
