    60% of my fav links from 10 yrs ago are 404. I wonder if Library of Congress expects 60% of their collection to go up in smoke every decade.

    How can you call the web a publishing medium when your bookshelf can just vanish? URLs and HTTP are a disaster. Doesn't have to be this way.

  2. @worrydream Also, though, so is your new housemate @juanbenet. In a very different way. You should talk to him about it sometime (-:

    @davidad @worrydream -- in a sense, ipfs = dht + bittorrent + git. But it's really about the content-addressable web (er, dag).

  5. @davidad @worrydream yep! ted would be proud. But not with the idea that the real answer was we want both: links in AND out of the file.

    @davidad @worrydream also, + a link type -> rdf. gist.github.com/jbenet/85761e7… is it bad idea to go multigraph off the bat? Seems bad not to.

  6. @juanbenet @worrydream I find triples/n-tuples inelegant. You can replicate with { [linkid:type,:type], [linkid:src,src], [linkid:dst,dst] }

    @juanbenet @worrydream I guess [doc1:loc1,doc2:loc2] format is kind of a 4-tuple, but it's more just like "insert <a href="doc2#loc2"> here"
