@piombo We've spoken to the venue & can confirm the LRAD is used to broadcast pre-recorded information messages to people leaving the venue.

@O2 The problem isn't its intended use, it's that a device capable, indeed designed, to produce pain and hearing damage was left unattended.

@piombo The device may have alternative uses, however in this instance the device is only set up for announcements & not weaponry purposes.
