1. Exquisite Tweets from @KevinTRod, @BradBirdA113

I don't know if it's @BradBirdA113 fault, but if the MI:4 BluRay doesn't keep the IMAX scenes in their proper ratio I don't think I want it.

  2. @KevinTRod The "proper" IMAX ratio is 1.44:1, which NO HD tvs (or projectors) can show without vertical black bars on SIDES of the screen.

  3. @BradBirdA113 I understand it has to be SLIGHTLY cropped, but I would prefer that than it staying 2.35:1 the whole time.

@BradBirdA113 I think The Dark Knight, Tron: Legacy, and Transformers 2 BR's were good compromises for preserving the IMAX scenes.

  4. @KevinTRod What I'm saying is that the effect is NOT like seeing it in an IMAX theater, which forces you to sit forward.

    So I chose 2.40:1

P.S. I've enjoyed this conversation. It was brief but fun.

  6. BTW, @KevinTRod, I'm not opposed to a part IMAX Blu ray, it's just not the way I chose to have it seen @ home. If enough ask, it may happen.
